Terms of Service

Effective date: November 21, 2024

By using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

  1. 1. Overview

Djise connects DJs with their audience, enabling users to make music requests in exchange for a tip. DJs can create and manage events, accept, decline, or cancel music requests. Djise is operated by a French micro-enterprise registered under SIRET 93763767600019. Djise is available worldwide, and the platform is provided in English.

  2. 2. Registration and Account Requirements

Registration is required only for DJs. DJs must provide valid information during registration. Users do not need an account to make music requests.

  3. 3. Platform Functionality

    • DJs register, verify their accounts, and create events. Once an event is active, they enable music requests.
    • Users visit the music request page, select a song, choose a tip amount (above the DJ’s minimum), provide payment details, and submit the request.
    • The DJ receives the request and decides whether to accept or decline it. If accepted, the DJ has 30 minutes to play the song. Otherwise, the request is marked as "canceled" automatically.
    • Once the DJ plays the song, they mark it as "played" in the system.
  4. 4. Pricing and Payments

    • Djise takes a 20% commission on all transactions.
    • Stripe fees are borne by the DJ.
    • Users are only charged when the song is marked as "played."
    • If a song is marked as "played" but not actually played, an investigation will be conducted. If the DJ is found to have violated the terms, the user will receive a full refund, and the DJ may face a permanent ban.
  5. 5. User and DJ Obligations

    • DJs must respect the requests they accept and ensure songs are played within the allotted time.
    • Any fraudulent actions, such as marking songs as "played" without playing them, will result in the DJ’s permanent ban and forfeiture of earnings.
  6. 6. Djise’s Responsibilities and Limitations

Djise is currently in its alpha stage and strives to provide a stable and secure platform. However, bugs and technical issues may occur. Djise is not liable for the actions of DJs, including whether or not songs are played. However, Djise is committed to minimizing fraud and addressing user complaints.

  7. 8. Intellectual Property

All content on Djise, including branding, cannot be used without prior authorization.

  8. 9. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction

    In case of disputes:

    • Parties must first attempt mediation.
    • If unresolved, the matter will be subject to French jurisdiction.
  9. 10. Changes to the Terms of Service

Changes to these Terms will be communicated via email. The "Effective Date" at the top of this document will be updated accordingly.
